Nestled in the western part of the old French Concession, LuWan District is one of the oldest neighborhoods in ShangHai that retains much of its original architecture. Large leafy trees line the promenade along HuaiHai Lu and RuiJin Lu, with Shanghai's residents packong the streets on weekends just to window shop and people watching in the popular street cafes.
